At Jitscale we provide our highendclients a selection of 24/7 IT management & support services on operating systems, database clusters and application servers, often combined with a physical, virtual or cloud infrastructure underneath. What technology is being used, what kind infrastructure fits the best and what security measures need to be in place all depends on the (business) requirements of our customers. These requirements differ per customer, per situation and are based on a lot of other changing factors. Due to the growth of the company we are expanding our team of architects and therefore are looking for a Junior IT Architect.

Junior IT Architect:
The successful candidate is able to transfer all applicable business requirements and needs into concrete
technical solutions and proposals in collaboration with our sales teams, technical specialists and a senior
architect. In presales you will be joining meetings between customers and the Jitscale sales team and will collect all relevant information for conversion into an innovative technical design under guidance of a senior architect. You will present your designs alongside the sales team directly to the customer.

As an architect you also act as technical point of contact on the tactical and strategic level for a set of existing customers under guidance of one of our senior architects. You will develop a relation with these customers and gain a deep understanding of their (future) business needs and technical platform. You perform a customer platform improvement cycle regularly with which you advise your clients on how to anticipate on future needs and developments. For the operational teams within Jitscale you act as an advisor and ensure that all our engineers understand the big picture of the platform.

Jitscale architect's are outgoing: they regularly work at customers locations, visit technology partners and
conference. Architects always keep an eye on new developments in the market. It is key for our business to keepon top of new technology, best practices and policies that are relevant for our customers. By building proof ofconcepts, working out reference architectures and presenting test results you make a big contribution to ourinnovation roadmap.

Required Skills Junior IT Architect:
The requirements for this position are:
¿ At least bachelor degree (BSc.) in computer or information science
¿ Handson experience with web and cloud technology
¿ Focussed on customer satisfaction
¿ Good writing and preferably visualisation skills
¿ Good commercial and communicative skills

Personal characteristics:

¿ Very ambitious and eager to learn
¿ Generalist with handsonattitude
¿ Outgoing
