Junior International Tax Manager Amsterdam

Position
The Junior Manager International Tax reports to VP International Tax for EMEA and is a part of the global tax team, which in The Netherlands includes 10 people. He or she will be involved in a wide range of tax planning issues of the European Group, initially while supporting more senior colleagues but developing into more and more independency.

More specifically, the main tasks and responsibilities of the team include:
*Project management for various tax-related projects or projects initiated outside of tax that have tax implications to the company.
*Optimize the overall group income tax position (including impacts to overall group fiscal position), with a focus on one or more assigned areas of responsibility.
*Provide input and assistance to the reporting/compliance function;
*Assistance with mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, internal structuring etc. of the group;
*Coordinate tax audits and assist other parts of the Group in tax audits where required;
*Assist in developing (new) transfer pricing and to review and implement Transfer pricing documentation for various group companies within different tax jurisdictions.

Candidate
The ideal candidate has a completed education in tax and between 2 and 5 years of experience in international tax gained at a (larger) consultancy firm and/or multinational corporation. You are a team player with strong analytical skills and attention for detail. You are fluent in English (written and verbal) with strong communication skills. Other key words are team player, problem solver, ambitious, highly motivated, energetic and hard worker.
