Junior Graphic Designer (Short Term Contract)

Projektbeschreibung
Junior Graphic Designer needed for short-term contract with a leading travel company in Dublin city centre.
Your role with be to co-ordinate and implement all graphic design and creative content for the company both online and offline. You will be working within the Marketing Department, and this includes advertising campaigns, promotional materials, brochure/publication production, ECRM, social media and other digital marketing.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
You will be responsible for in-house design and production of all printed materials including point of sale for retail shops, online and offline advertising campaigns, trade and consumer ECRM, tactical brochures/flyers (2/4/8 page) and merchandising material.
You will need to liaise with external designers, newspapers, media buyer, printers and photography sources. This includes seeking quotes and raising purchase orders.
You will be required to check accuracy, design concept and quality of colour proofs and puff files before approval and sign off with printers.
In the case of advertising you will be required to fulfil the media plan and send ads to the newspapers and media buyer. You will create weekly ECRM campaigns through HTML and Dreamweaver.
Where required you will also need to support and assist in other marketing activities and functions.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- For this position design and layout ability, proof-reading and attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to work as a team under pressure and to deadlines is paramount.
- Ability to operate both Apple Macintosh and PC and use of QuarkXPress (desirable), Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat and Photoshop Software.
- Use of Adsend for press advertising (desirable)
- Digital marketing tools such as Dreamweaver, HTML,CSS a distinct advantage
- Educated third level qualification in a related discipline
- Proven ability to undertake duties as listed above
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- A creative and enthusiastic team player
- A team player with the ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to build strong relationships both internal and external
- Must be able to work in a fast paced changing environment with competing deadlines
- Excellent planning, organisation and administration skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload and to meet demanding deadlines
