Junior Engineer job in Brussels, French and Dutch, network
Please read on if you have the following:
Fluent Dutch and French, plus passive knowledge of English
Experience working with data networks
Expertise with major ICT hardware products, network standard protocols and cabling
The job is to assist in the migration of our Data Centre Infrastructure Management platform (DCIM) to our new version (NIyte). The key deliverables are the time it takes and the data quality of the input into the new platform. The Data Centres are in Evere, Machelen and Mechelen.
The Junior Engineer analyses the new requests for installations, modifications or removals of ICT components and rapidly prepares an accurate quotation. The Junior Engineer is also responsible for follow-up and communication with the executive teams, the sales channel and/or the client.
Technologies: HP, Dell, Sun, Brocade, Cisco, LAN, SAN, TCP/IP, copper, fiber
