Junior Digital Developer

The busy and vibrant marketing department are currently recruiting for a Junior Digital Developer to join their dedicated in-house digital production team. Based in Central London and reporting into the Digital Operations Manager, this role is part of the digital studio, who are responsible for producing high volumes of client branded recruitment campaigns for many high profile brands. To be successful in this role you will need the technical background of working within a similar position and enjoy working in a fast paced and vibrant team environment.

The main focus of the role is the production of responsive, standards compliant CSS for client microsite build projects. Strong hand-coding ability will be required. This will involve transforming a PSD mock up into a full working CSS document within a tight timescale to accommodate project deadlines. There will be projects which utilise jquery/JavaScript frameworks and some API development. You'll also be working on creating Front End UI, so having a good appreciation of design and creative flair will be useful.

We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, time management skills and a delivery-focused attitude. Additionally you will need a proven track record of working with the following technologies: CSS/CSS3, HTML, Responsive Web Design techniques, Mobile UI and layouts, Basic jQuery, CMS integration, UI/wireframe production, Photoshop and MS Office.
