Junior Developer

Proteus Europe is searching for a Junior Developer for a 6 month contract role based in Zaventum, Belgium

Our Client:-
Our client is an international consultancy with a reputation for delivering on projects with their consultancy customers. You will join and be part of their team to ensure this current project is a complete success.

Your New role:-

The junior developer will support the technical implementation of the Consumer Domain project - a custom-built application to capture, cluster, consolidate and share consumer information

Topic/content
- Develop, test and deploy software in the area of Consumer Domain
- Estimate and implement new features that optimally support emerging business requirements
- Provide solution roll-out support to European markets
- Monitor and resolve issues and deliver key performance improvements
- Discover, document and manage dependencies on deliverables of other development teams

Your Skills and experience:-

Essential Skills:-
o Proven track record as developer (technical analysis, estimation, programming, unit testing, issue resolution, deployment)
o Experience with Scrum/Agile frameworks
o Experience and/or interest in Server Side JavaScript (Node.js), cloud solutions (AWS, Heroku), MongoDB and stream processing (Apache Kafka)
o Bachelors degree in computer science
o Minimum of 2 years relevant post qualification experience
o Fluent in English (TME business language)

- Able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
