Junior Data Analysis Expert - Bigdata - SW Development - Mathematics

JUNIOR DATA ANALYSIS EXPERT - BIGDATA - SW DEVELOPMENT - MATHEMATICS - STATISTICS - ENGINEERING

To work in a Pharma Research and Early Development, we are looking for a Junior person having a mathematical background to support the development of digital biomarkers.

The successful candidate will be analysing large amounts sensor data collected from smartphones and other wearables in clinical trials to discover digital biomarkers required to assess drug efficacy.

YOUR PROFILE:
- Very good university degree in MATHEMATICS, STATISTICS, NATURAL SCIENCE OR INFORMATICS
- 3+ years of experience with ANALYSING BIG DATA SETS, DATA VISUALIZATION (FORMER ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE as well as technical know-how shown in the last projects)
- Experience with SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT and BIG DATA INFRASTRUCTURES
- Experience with ANALYSING BIOMECHANICAL and SENSOR DATA desirable
- PROFOUND KNOWLEDGE IN PYTHON, R, MATLAB OR SIMILAR SOFTWARE PACKAGES/LANGUAGES
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Self-starting team player
- Fluent in English

NICE TO HAVE:

- German language
- Working experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally with clinical studies
