JUNIOR APPLICATION ENGINEER - BASEL

Are you a Junior Application Engineer looking for your next challenging project?

One of the biggest international pharmaceutical companies with HQ in Basel is looking for a JUNIOR APPLICATION ENGINEER with Experience in SERIALIZATION.

This is a 7 months contracting position starting in April until October 2016 with the opportunity of an extension.

In this interesting project, you as a JUNIOR APPLICATION ENGINEER will provide application management and support in order to ensure operational stability and effectiveness of several applications. Furthermore, you will support the IT solutions by applying specific knowledge of systems. Aditionally, you as an application engineer will manage the implementation and monitoring of the system performance by using defined standards and resolve problems for resolution. At least, you will participate in the execution and documentation of the system testing.

YOU BRING THE MAIN QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE:

- Minimum of 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN SERIALIZATION
- Good experience in a supply chain environment (ie PACKAGING AREA)
- Very good experience with TRACK AND TRACE (eg Laetus and OPAL) Systems/automation and programming language
- Experienced with TROUBLESHOOTINg
- Strong skills in DATABASE/SQL (eg analyze/understand queries)
- Good know how in reading and analysing application log files for investigation
- Valuable experience in a pharmaceutical company or within A REGULATED ENVIRONMENT
- Excellent communication skills in ENGLISH (written and spoken)
