Jr Web Developer

Our client in Santa Clara, CA is seeking someone who is a skilled Front End junior web developer to join a fun, innovative team of highly talented web designers and engineers to create engaging interactive user experiences for iPad, iPhone, desktops and the web. You must me be passionate about producing standards-compliant web sites and have a proven history with large-scale web site development.

Responsibilities:
Update interactive, functional web pages
Perform ongoing site maintenance
Manage all documents and files on the site ensuring proper linking and functionality
Adhere strictly to standards for coding, directory structure, naming conventions
Produce web graphics that follow predetermined style guidelines

Requirements:
At least 1 year experience coding HTML/XHTML and CSS
Familiar with Web standards and cross-platform, cross-browser issues
Experience using Dreamweaver to make website updates and Photoshop for image slicing and
optimization
Experience working on tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
Extremely detail oriented, intrinsically motivated and disciplined
Comfortable working on a Mac operating system
Familiarity with fundamental visual and interactive design discipline
Javascript coding and working with script libraries like Prototype and jQuery a plus, but not required
