Jr Proposal Specialist

Assist proposal professionals in the interview of Subject Matter Experts to craft proposal language for hardware and software products aimed at government markets.

- Refine and incorporate strategic marketing messaging into SME-provided information
- Review related brochures, technical manuals, and other product information to assess content for inclusion in proposal text.
- Edit new and existing proposal content for clarity and consistency. Proofread any changes and additions.

SKILLS:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:
1. Learning or teaching technical concepts and/or collaborating within technical teams
2. Writing responses to RFPs
3. Developing marketing and strategic messaging and incorporating into writing
4. Reviewing and editing technical documentation
5. Participating in group proposal/document reviews and incorporating new material or rewriting in response to feedback
6. Drafting and managing content in deadline-driven environments.

PREFERRED:
1. Experience developing multi-media presentations and/or graphics to accompany written marketing or proposal materials

EDUCATION REQUIRED/PREFERRED:
Bachelor's degree plus 2 years experience preferred.
