Jnr Systems Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responding as required to server and supported system incidents
- Resolving client technical support issues
- Providing troubleshooting and incident resolution for the following (but not limited to)
- Windows Server
- ESX 4 and 5
- SAN storage
- Microsoft system Applications (Exchange, AD, SQL)
- Maintaining and responding to Proactive monitoring systems
- Preparing reports for Team Leader as required
- Resolving system support issues

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or relevant experience
- Microsoft certification eg. MCSE
- Proven expertise in Windows operating systems
- Proven expertise in maintaining Active Directory and Exchange
- Experience in support of Lync 2010
- Expertise in the installation, testing, delivery, integration and support of Microsoft infrastructure applications, including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, ISA TMG, SharePoint 2007/2010,SCCM
- Experience with high availability technology, especially clustering and load balancing
- Experience with supporting an application environment with aggressive SLAs
- Experience with VMware Virtual Infrastructure
