Jira and Confluence Engineer

Our Minnesota client is in need of a Jira and Confluence Engineer to support their DotCom team.

Description of Responsibilities:

- Create custom workflows, post functions, validators, plugins and scripts
- Make changes to workflows, screens, fields and reporting
- Provide ongoing support and configuration maintenance
- Develop solutions extending Atlassian REST services and JIRA plugins using the Atlassian SDK
- Serve as the Jira/Atlassian technical resource for migrations to ensure adoption of development/workflow processes, address user questions and develop training as needed

Description of Skills:

- Five or more years of experience with software development
- Two or more years of experience with JIRA and Confluence administration
- Two or more years of experience with Linux, DB administration, Tomcat server configuration and tuning, and JVM tuning
- Two or more years of experience with agile development and continuous integration
- Experience with Opscode Chef is a strong plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams
- Excellent problem solving skills, process implementation skills
- Ability to create complex JIRA workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, notification schemes
- Experience developing Jira plugins using Atlassian SDK
- Experience writing jelly/scriptrunner scripts
- Experience using/extending REST services provided by Atlassian
