JEE Front End - Angular - React - JS - European Commission

For a project at the European Commission we currently have a developer job available.
You will be developing in Angular 2, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Java, PL/SQL.
On-site at the European Commission in Brussels, you will be working on an application which is processing reimbursement requests for medical expenses in the European Commission and other institutions. From the encoding of a reimbursement request and providing related documents and its liquidation by PMO officers according the the business rules.

- Provision of assistance, technology watch, architectural and security considerations and advices, applicable standards, solution patterns and best practices in a specific area of ICT infrastructure technology (e.g. database management systems, Java Enterprise technology, enterprise & web content management, XML, application life cycle management, test driven development)
- Development in Angular2, javascript, CSS, HTML5, java, PL-SQL, SQL.
- Elaboration of functional, non-functional, technical and security requirements and business case analysis related to the area of expertise
- Elaboration of vision documents focused upon infrastructure components
- Review of Information Systems Infrastructure Architectures
- Provision of technical evaluations and audit reports in relation with information systems infrastructure.

For this role you need:

- At least 1 year of expertise in javascript front-end development (ANGULAR, REACT, CSS, HTML5) and web design (UX)
- At least 3 years of SPRING MVC or other REST capable frameworks
- At least 3 years of experience in Java Enterprise development
- Good knowledge of relational database management technology: SQL, PL-SQL
- Good knowledge of application Servers: BEA Weblogic 12 and higher
- Knowledge of information systems infrastructure matters
- Knowledge of information systems security (XSRF, JWT etc.)
- Knowledge of ICT consulting and the realisation of ICT studies (aptitude to write
- clear and structured technical documents)

Due to the particular nature of a large international organisation such as the European Commission, candidates should also have the following non-technical skills:

- Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on a large project
- Ability to participate in multilingual meetings, fluent oral and written
- communication in both French and English
- Ability to write documentation in French and English
- Ability to work in a team
