Front End Web Development
Our client is currently running a program with the objective of providing a fully electronic version of the content of patent publications (known as the "Druckexemplar").

This project is looking for a web developer to provide development services for a web based application. The services are requested for the period of Quarter I of 2013, and the successful candidate will be based in The Hague. Occasional travel to other sites (Munich and Berlin)
might be required.

Project Background
The project will implement workbench modules for a common web application platform which will be shared amongst multiple projects within the IT Roadmap. In parallel another IT project called the Initial Workbench, will deliver a concept and potentially develop a common Patent Processing Workbench web application.
The developer's work will be to implement a GUI for a text comparison tool based on a concept delivered by a UI team for the project. This comparison tool will be a module for this project, as well as potentially for the other projects. The UI designers that have developed
the UI concept are located in Munich, and some of them are available to, if necessary, work closely
with the developer to resolve any conceptual issues.
The project will partially adopt the agile project management methodologies. Knowledge about Intellectual Property (IP) and IP application software is an advantage.
