Role: JavaScript Developer

Responsibilities:

- Working closely with Senior Software Architect to identify and specify new User Interface Elements within the product.
- Take ownership of the JavaScript API within the product.
- Implement user interface features within Site Manager and associated products to agreed quality control standards.
- Analytically minded to resolve known bugs/issues.
- Work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Drive best practices and mentor other team members.

Must Have:

- 2+ years Web UI software design and development.
- Experience working with a JavaScript MVC Framework, such as Angular.js, Backbone.js, Ember.js.
- Experience working with RESTful Web Services, JSON, HTML5, CSS3.
- Experience with JavaScript testing tools. ie, Jasmine, Chai, Sinon etc.
- Knowledge of a source control system. Git preferred.
- Have a passion for creating inventive software.
- Delivery orientated.

Nice to Have:

- Knowledge of Java and J2EE Application Frameworks, such as Spring, a plus
- Knowledge of Accessibility Standards both for Websites and for Web Applications
- Experience working in an agile environment.

Qualifications:

- IT/Computer science degree or third level equivalent.
