Java (Web Developer) - Leeds

An experienced Java Web Developer is needed to join new team in the educational sector in West Yorkshire. This position requires motivated individuals who have good Java and web development experience.

You will be working as part of the development team performing the following roles:

- Designing, developing and testing new and enhanced features for the core product set.
- Assisting by investigating, diagnosing and fixing problems encountered with the product.
- Producing internal and customer-facing documentation for the products.
- Providing assistance to deploy, troubleshoot and upgrade solutions.

The required skills include:

Database: DB2 v8, Oracle8.x/9i, Sybase, MS Access,MySQL,MS-SQLSoftware Languages: Java, XML, PL-SQL, HTML, Java Script, Rational Rose.Web Technologies: JSP, Servlets, EJB, LDAP, JDBC, JNDI.Operating System: Win XP/95/98/2000/Vista, Linux.Application Servers: Oracle9i/10g Application Server, Websphere Application Server 4.0.2/5.1/6.0, Apache Tomcat, JBoss.
