Java Web Developer

Front End Java Developer - Play Framework - Bootstrap - AngularJS

My client is looking for a Java Developer to be based in Stavanger, Norway, for an initial 6 month contract.

The successful Java Developer will be supporting relevant business units with operation of business applications - including operational support as well as developing new solutions and modifying existing applications and advisory services.

In addition, the successful Java Developer will be working with Oil Sales and Distribution Systems - working with bespoke Java applications, participating in development activities and some 3rd line maintenance tasks.

- Web Services/CFX/REST for external communication
- Apache Camel
- Various API's and frameworks used in development
- XMLBeans for accessing XML
- Quartz (Scheduler framework)
- Maven for building
- JUnit for testing
- ReportMill
- SQL/TOAD
- XML and XLS knowledge for handling the XML schemas
- WebSphere Application Server
- Eclipse/RAD Java developing environment.

Administrative tasks:
- ITIL knowledge and creating and handling cases in Service Centre
- Build and release new versions
- GIT knowledge for code versioning and release of new versions
- Meridio knowledge for checking documents in the document store.
- Check and interpret logs.
- Be able to analyse, find errors in the overall Java application system and recover from them.
