Java Tester/Automation Tester (f/m)

For our client we are looking for a Java Tester/ Automation Tester on a freelance basis (f/m)
Project Start: July 3rd
Project duration: 6months with an option to extend
Location: Bochum (greater area)

Tasks:
- In charge of testing developed software against specific requirements and to identify problems from an end user perspective and resolve them together with the development team.
- Create Test Plan, Create automatic testing routines, help analysing issues.
- Liasing with developers and programmers to swiftly resolve faults.
- Monitoring and logging testing processes, as well as writing reports and communicating results to colleagues and managers and performing peer reviews and estimates.

Skills
- Knowledge of user documentation, training documents & user acceptance plans.
- Knowledge of functional, reliability and performance testing.
- Experience of working in pressured environment to strict deadlines.
- Able to test multiple projects at the same time.
- Extensive knowledge of automated testing, Open GI applications & MS Office Suite.
- Commercial experience at a Tester within a Agile Development environment.
- Ability to learn new software quickly.
- A thorough understanding of the software development process.
- Comprehensive understanding of computer programming languages: C++ Java.
- Extensive knowledge of the full software testing life-cycle.
- Java 8, especially streams and lambdas, reflection Git JUnit IntelliJ Idearemote debugging SQL JSON

Languages
Fluent German and English are required
