Java Test Engineer - must have JEE and Automated Testing Know-How - En

For a global client in Zürich we are looking for a Java Developer to join the team.

This job will require regular call/shift work on a regular basis.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

- SENIOR IN JEE ENGINEER with experience in the testing domain.
- Nice to have: automated testing with Selenium or Performance testing
- 8+ years' experience in IT (development or architecture)
- An engineering mindset in terms of structured analysis of complex systems and problem approaching
- A high level of abstraction skills to create strategies and planning for tests of IT systems
- A good domain know-how in financial industries and preferable trading and risk systems
- A recent hands-on knowledge for Java (Architecture or Design-Pattern or Run-time), Oracle certified preferred
- Knowing test automation frameworks, like Webtest, TestNG or Selenium would be of advantage
- Any of the following skills in advantageous: Database performance tuning, Distributed Caches (like coherence), Linux/Unix system tuning
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English is essential
