One of my leading financial services clients in Amsterdam is urgently seeking a JAVA TEST AUTOMATION SPECIALIST for a long term contract paying excellent rates. This is an indefinite assignment. If you like it, you will never have to leave.

THE JAVA TEST AUTOMATION SPECIALIST WILL IDEALLY HAVE AT LEAST 65% OF THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

- At least 5+ years of software engineering experience
- You have extensive knowledge of Java, especially applied to test automation, web applications and web services
- Able to analyse, build, test and deliver working software according to the best software engineering practices
- Master maintaining and adapting test automation frameworks, taking into consideration all functional and non-functional aspects relevant for the software domain
- Have excellent practical experience on the design and implementation of large sets of automated tests (for new features, regression and E2E). The relations between the individual automate tests, test sets and their data is carefully considered
- able to efficiently explain test results and address the resolution of test issues
- Apply the principles of continuous delivery and contribute to achieving continuous integration.
- Have excellent knowledge of GIT, Jenkins, and Docker, next to good understanding of Artifactory and Nolio
- Have good knowledge of performance testing using HP Performance Center
- Have very good knowledge of domestic, SEPA, and true international payments. The standard formats, specific settings per country, and overall processing flows are crystal clear to you.
- Have good understanding of account management, authorizations and other administrative banking functions of payment transactions and cash management systems.
- Have sound knowledge of WebSphere, Oracle, Linux and Middleware software (eg XFB, JMS and MQ).
- Have awareness of application risk controls, proactively contributing to prevent security and operational risks.
- Agile principles and ITIL best practices are Embedded in your way of working.
