JAVA SOLUTION ENGINEER

On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a JAVA SOLUTION ENGINEER. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Your main responsibilities will be:

- Delivers all necessary design and specification documents
- Realize and implement requirements in Java
- Technical analysis and implementation of requirements
- Check and improve code quality of the delivered Java code

The skills and experience needed for this position are:

- Degree in Engineering
- Extensive experience as Solution Engineer incl.:
- Java Language
- J2EE Technologies (pref. Weblogic)
- Database Technologies (Oracle)
- SQL (Oracle)
- Web-technologies (Webservices, XML, HTML, etc)
- Unix/Linux
- Experience in Securities Operations are a plus
- Good communicator in English; German is a nice to have
