Projektbeschreibung

JAVA Software Support Project Manager/controller for defect resolution is required. This is an EXCEPTIONAL opportunity to work with an EXTRAORDINARY and hugely SUCCESSFUL company.

This is the opportunity to pro actively plan, manage and deliver defect resolution for a large group of production applications in compliance with the service management practices, standards and processes, to meet defined business service level agreements. To ensure that long term technological road maps are delivered for specific assigned applications in line with IT strategy and architecture.

Technical skill Sets - - Expert in JAVA technologies
- Responsible for executing all preventative and perfective maintenance activities for assigned areas including capacity planning, resiliency switchovers, disaster recovery for all the applications/system within the assigned set of applications to ensure application availability 
- Responsible for all adaptive maintenance activities for the assigned areas. Ensure that all the applications/systems are running in supported technology and infrastructure components.
- Implement the long term technological road maps for specific assigned technologies that will support the growth of the client over the next 3-5 years
- Ensure that no defect resolution and bug fix impact the production stability or application availability to the users
- Ensure that all the new applications for the assigned areas going into production meet the support service requirements before going live through periodic interaction with the Service Level Manager and Solution Delivery Manager until Acceptance into Service (AIS) and during post implementation
- Responsible for managing and executing medium sized upgrades to production application

Essential:

- You will be experienced in managing teams of 10+ delivering defect resolution
- Your key skills will be delivering projects in software
- You will be responsible for ensuring the identification, isolation and rectification of faults for the assigned in-house applications/system so that the application is restored to operational conditions within the tolerances defined in the Service Level Objective (SLO).
- You will verify, validate and agree with the Service Management and Relationship Management team for any work provided during any incident. This would include recovery of application dependencies and liaising with the respective Software Support Managers of other areas.
- Implement application recovery and maintenance procedures and tools to ensure the incidents are consistently managed within the assigned SLOs. The procedures should match the business and operational criticality of the system.
- Responsible for Root Cause Analysis of in-house applications
- Implement permanent fixes so that any incidents are not repeated
- Drive Quality assurance  and Improvement programs to avoid the recurrence of defects of the assigned group of applications
- Experience in IT project management in a CMMI environment is preferred.

Knowledge/skills

- Expert knowledge of application operations
- Expert abstract reasoning, problem isolation and troubleshooting skills
- Good knowledge of ITIL practices
- Experienced in working under pressure and tight deadlines
