ABOUT THE POSITION
GTN Technical Staffing is currently seeking a Front End Java Software Engineer to join company in Plano, TX on a contract basis. This role will participate in graphical user interface development using Java development tools. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: analysis, coding, testing, programming, technical design, documentation, mentoring and expertise with new platforms and development environments.
- Gathering/Developing Business and System Requirements
- Developing Design Documentation
- Development/Unit Testing
- Supporting ongoing system maintenance
- Supporting System Quality Assurance/Testing Efforts
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
4+ years of experience in the following skill sets
- M.S. in Electrical Engineering or M.S. Computer Science
- Java/J2EE - Application Development/System Architecture
- Web Services Based Application - Development/Maintenance/Enhancement
- Spring/Struts/Hibernate Frameworks
- Enterprise Java Beans 3.0
- Groovy/XML/HTML/JSP
- JBoss Application Server
- Systems Specifications/Business Process Functionality Requirements
- Excellent English - Written/Verbal
PREFERRED
- .NET Application Development
