Main Duties

The consultancy required by this statement of work will:

* Work on a full time basis on the development of the new version of IDATS;
* Work in a team that uses Scrum as a methodology;
* Work closely with the customer or representatives of the customer;
* Visit NATO FORACS ranges for collecting domain knowledge or performing tests when applicable;

Essential Skills and Experience

* The candidate has at least three years relevant experience in software development
* The candidate has relevant experience in Systems Engineering
* The candidate has relevant experience in software design
* The candidate has relevant experience in programming in Java and JavaScript
* The candidate has relevant experience in working with databases, database structures and Datamodelling
* The candidate has relevant experience in designing and developing Graphical User Interfaces
* The candidate has relevant experience in working with distributed systems
* The candidate has relevant experience in verification and validation of requirements, eg during system tests
* The candidate has a customer focused attitude, sets high standards for quality and quantity; monitors and maintains quality and productivity; works in a systematic, methodical and orderly way

Desirable Skill and Experience

* Mathematical knowledge
* Use of Scrum
* Geographic Information Systems
* Configuration Management
* Software development at the network interface level (UDP, TCP) and/or Serial Interface level
* Continuous Integration
* Automated Testing of software
* Working with a software development team

Essential Qualifications

A university degree or diploma from an establishment of recognized standing in computer sciences or a
related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Language Skill

Good English oral and writing skills. Most of the work is conducted in the English language.

Security Clearance

NATO Secret Security Clearance or National Equivalent
