Java Project Manager

SEC and a global IT Consulting Company are working together in the search and selection for a Java Project Manager for one of their international projects in Spain.

As an IT Project Manager, you will be involved in a massive international project. This is a contract til the end of the year with high possibilities of extension.

Accountabilities include:
- Management of a number of projects
- Manage the development and implementation of information systems to meet the identified business needs
- Guide the team and review the deliverables
- Prepare and maintain project and quality plans and track the activities against this plan
- Monitor timescales and resources and take corrective actions if deviations occurs

The successful candidate should be compliant with the following profile:
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in IT
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Project Management
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in Java.
- Good knowledge of Quality and Testing
- Good knowledge of project management standards and methodologies
- Usage of project management tools
- Ability to give presentations, to participate in multilingual meetings
- Good communication skills
- Ability to apply high quality standards to all task
- Capability to work in a multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capacity, team working experience, understanding the needs, objectives and constraints of those in other disciplines and functions
