Java Portal Developer

For an Air Traffic Management client, Eurocity is looking for an JAVA PORTAL DEVELOPER for a one year contract with a possibility of extension on a yearly base.

TASKS

- Design, development and maintenance of N-CONECT program,
- Portal and B2B applications. Oncall support for about 3 to 4 weeks a year during the applications migration.
- Development and maintenance of unit test frameworks, unit tests for the software components and software frameworks. Prototyping of new architecture or features.
- Participate to the analysis of the changes & writing technical documents

MUST HAVE (KNOCK OUT CRITERIA)

- Experience with Object Oriented Analysis, design and programming
- Extensive Java knowledge 1.7 or above (OCJP/SCJP)
- Profound Linux knowledge (Shell Scripting)
- Pro-active and capable of working very precise
- Usage of Application Lifecycle Management tools such as HP ALM, Remedy, Service Now...
- Experience using IDE such as IntelliJ...
- Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, Gerrit...
- Experience with Gradle
- JavaScript, CSS 3 and HTML5
- Actively follow up of Browser Roadmaps

NICE TO HAVE (PREFERRED SKILLS)

- Experience with application Servers including Weblogic or similar
- Experience with GIT
- Experience with, Cucumber, MongoDB
- Oracle RDBMS (DDL and DML scripts)
- Experience with GWT/Sencha GXT or Swing
