Green Light requires the services of a number of established, progressive and passionate Java Portal Developers to work onsite with one of our largest commercial customers. This team services a number of programs across a large forward thinking enterprise and houses some of Australia's finest programming talent.

These assignments will suit highly technical and passionate Java Portal Developer looking for a long and interesting enterprise project and an opportunity to practice industry-best techniques while solving complex problems on a daily basis.

It is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to work on an exciting Greenfield project where the end client is overhauling their enterprise CMS. For this project they are looking to take on Java developers with excellent problem solving abilities having worked previously on enterprise projects.

Java Portal Developer key attributes:

- Spring/JEE and Tomcat
- Test Driven Development using standard, open source tools (Junit, Mockito, PowerMock).
- Build and deployment tools (Ant, Maven)
- Some knowledge of Javascript (AJAX, JSON) and HTML.
- Integrating with various Front End view technologies (JSPs, Freemarker).
- Code reviews
- Ensuring code quality through static analysis tools such as Sonar and Findbugs
- Integration with various internal and 3rd party REST an SOAP services.
- Debugging & mocking SOAP services with SOAP-UI
- Version control using Git
- Providing technical assistance to the producer team with CMS issues.
- Implementing solutions under the guidance of the operations and architecture teams.
- Working with various test automation technologies and continuous integration.
