JAVA LEAD ENGINEER

Our client is a bank with international approach located in Zurich. The firm offers a very professional environment where you will have the chance to use your skills within an experienced team.

We are looking for a contractor/consultant with strong exposure to the banking and/or financial services industry having worked in a similar position to lead a team of 5 developers.

TASKS

- Development of a new application in Java/SQL
- Among development responsibility for unit testing, integration, deployment and documentation as well as design
- Leading the development team
- 3rd level support
- Analysis of change requests and impact analysis
- Support project leader with your technical expertise

REQUIREMENTS

- Very good knowledge in Java, Hibernate, EJB, JSF, JAX-RS, JPA, Maven, Git
- Very good SQL skills
- At least 5 years experience in Java development and a minimum of 2 years team management experience
- Previous working experience in Banking & Financial Services
- Knowledge of rule-based software
- Outstanding communication skills and experience in agile environments
- Fluent in German & English (written & spoken)
