JAVA JEE UI DEVELOPER WITH ADDITIONAL BACK END EJB OR WEB SERVICES IN AN SOA ENVIRONMENT
In order to support the development of a new European-wide development programme, we are urgently seeking a really strong Java JEE developer for a long term contract in Brussels.
ESSENTIAL DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE
- Proven development experience in large-scale Java-based development projects
- Knowledge and experience in development of 3-tier developed projects in JEE.
- Experience in particular UI development based on jQuery, AngularJS, bootstrap, is required
- Experience in particular web framework development based on JAX-RS (Jersey) is an asset
EXPERIENCE IN TECHNOLOGIES
- Knowledge and experience in development of Back End EJB and/or web services in a SOA environment
- Knowledge of development methodologies (eg RUP, SCRUM) and modelling (eg UML)
- Experience and knowledge of EJB3 technology.
- Experience in using relevant development tools such as Eclipse
PERSONAL SKILLS
- Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings (FR-EN)
- Ability to understand and be understood
- Inquiring mind
- Eye for detail/accuracy
- Pragmatism
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- University degree with minimum 5 YEARS of experience in IT OR 4 Non-university degree with minimum 10 YEARS of experience in IT.

- WebLogic Server
- JEE 6 environment and standards

- UML Modelling and RUP Methodology
