Java JEE Teamlead, Banking, Rolling 6 Month Contract

On behalf of our client, one of the most established financial institutions worldwide, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced Project Manager and Team Lead with a strong track record in managing development teams in the banking domain.

This is a rolling six month contract in Zurich starting ASAP.

JAVA JEE TEAMLEAD, BANKING, ROLLING 6 MONTH CONTRACT

In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following skills:

- Track record managing software development teams
- 3+ years project management experience
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills with proven track record of delivery
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the Application Development area (Solid general IT knowledge)
- A university degree in an IT related area is preferred
- Strong collaboration skills to cooperate with multiple stakeholders in a multicultural
- environment (incl. offshore partners)
- Highly motivated and results-oriented personality
- Java and SQL knowledge and experience with agile project delivery methods is an advantage
- Fluent English language skills

Responsibilities:

- Lead a JEE high performance development team for the a high visibility project
- Responsible for management of the entire delivery cycle of the project (time, cost and quality)
- Work with the development team and the business to elicit, analyze, document, support prioritization of, specify, manage and communicate requirements, describe processes and propose improvements to process, ensuring a common understanding between business and IT
- Work with business users to ensure delivery quality of application
- Contribute to a reduction of implementation risks by creating and communicating high quality requirement/design specifications
- Close collaboration with our offshore development team and business partner
