Their solution combines a client - server data management and visualization
The challenge is to provide a scalable, parallel analysis solution, together with a simple to use graphical user interface to give internal clients a manageable way to handle the large amounts of data, and help them interpret the increasingly complicated results in a compact, graphical way.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate will work as part of a small IT team to add features to the Front End platform, involving both the Server Side web service in Java and the development of the Front End GUI in JavaFX.
THE CANDIDATE:
As an established startup we want people that are motivated, enthusiastic and flexible - you must be willing to get involved with all aspects of the system. You must be goal driven and able to work independently on a project to completion as well as being comfortable in a team.
You will have several years' experience producing high quality applications, and:
- Strong JAVA skills
- JavaFX GUI experience
- Comfortable with SPRING/MySQL/Tomcat web applications
- Comfortable with JavaScript
- Experience with Linux would be useful.
