Location: Charlotte, NC (out of town candidates encouraged to apply however will need to relocate to Charlotte at own expense)

Our client, a leading financial institution, is hiring multiple Java/J2EE Developers who will be responsible for the design and development of enhancements to Financial/trading applications. Will interface with business users to gather requirements and create design specifications, then develop the code, and interact with the offshore QA team for testing. Position requires new development/enhancements and maintenance.

Required Skills:
- Java, J2EE, JMS, Spring, SQL, Stored Procedures (7+ years).
- JBoss, WebLogic or WebSphere.
- JDBC, JPA and Hibernate.
- OOAD, Component design and construction, EAI and SOA technologies.
- Developing or Architecting solutions for web applications as well as Web Services.
- Experience in developing Transactional Systems involving high volume using the following technologies: JAVA, XSL, JavaScript, Struts, Spring MVC, HTML, XML, XPATH, SAX and DOM parsers, J2EE, JDBC, MS-SQLServer/Sybase, SQL.

Desired Skills:
- JSF 2.0, AJAX, JQuery, Charting libraries, TIBCO messaging, and Adobe FLEX.
- Multi-threading, concurrency, distributed caching, OSI network layers/protocols, network infrastructure.
- Ability to lead teams and execute projects from conception to launch.
- Financial experience in Fixed Income and/or Derivatives.
