Java Integration Lead

One of our largest clients a in the health industry are looking for an Agile Java Developer with TDD, BDD, Paired Programming, Java 8, MongoDB and a pragmatic approach to software engineering. Any experience with technologies such as Scala, Cassandra or big data technologies is a huge plus, also any experience with Dev-Ops. As an Agile Java Developer, you will be joining a highly skilled team of Agile Java Developers who are at the top of their game and you will play a key part in defining the architecture of the new digital projects, having the ability to put your ideas and thoughts to the table. You will be working in fast spaced environment with the latest technologies and an industry leading project that is recognised across the industry.

Have experience in implementing APIs for internal and external use.

Have experience building Server Side web applications and have detailed knowledge of HTML, Java 8, REST, AWS, Elastic search, Apache and Tomcat.

Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) Experience

Have an ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

Have experience working on technical projects within a team.

Have working knowledge of Unix-like operating systems such as Linux and/or Mac OS X.

Have knowledge of the use of version control systems such as subversion or git.

Have knowledge of relational and non-relational database systems.

Have system administration and configuration management skills.

Have experience of building and scaling high-traffic websites.

Understand of the use of Responsive Web Design.

Have experience of designing and maintaining public HTTP APIs.

Have experience of handling large data sets and scaling their handling and storage.

Understand web architecture.

Have a working knowledge of Jackson, Jersey, MongoDB, Hibernate, DropWizard and Neo4j.
