Java Implementations Developer - 3 Months - Immediate Interviews

JAVA - J2EE - SQL - MAVEN - ECLIPSE - INTELLIJ - GHENT

For my Ghent based client I am seeking a Java Implementations Developer for a 3 months contract (with extension)

THE JAVA IMPLEMENTATIONS DEVELOPER MUST HAVE:

MUST HAVE:

Expert knowledge of developing and debugging in Java/J2EE

Good knowledge of Relational Databases (RDBMS), SQL DB

Maven, Git, Intellij/Eclipse, Unit testing

Proficient Linux user with basic Linux administration skills

Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies to iterate quickly on product changes, develop user stories and work through back logs

Ability to work in a fast paced, test driven collaborative and iterative programming environment

Exercise independent judgement in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results

NICE TO HAVE:

Experience working with Hadoop/Map Reduce, HBase, Hive, Flume, SOLR

Familiarity with NoSQL and ETL tools

Knowledgeable of the Restful concept

Experience with Python

Knowledge of Datamodelling and programming

Experience with performance tuning and profiling

Start Date: ASAP

Contract length: 3 months
