Java GUI Developer

For a client based in ZURICH we are currently looking for a JAVA GUI DEVELOPER.

SKILLS:

4+ years of recent experience building Rich GUIs (JavaFX, Swing, SWT/Eclipse RCP, Silverlight)

6+ years of developing using Java

Able to design solution from UML based business use cases, domain models, sequence diagrams and constraint definitions

Financial market knowhow and experience

Needs to contribute to all aspects of software development including: design, coding, testing, documentation, and debugging

Relational DB knowledge and data model understanding

Understands UI principles and UI design processes & patterns.

Must have experience producing visual designs and design elements from scratch, such as custom controls and layout frameworks, and produce reusable code for sister-projects.

Following established design process and guidelines (MVC/MVVM/MVP) and must follow data-binding principles.

Soft skills:

Capable of working independently in high-performance team.

Must be a self-starter and quick to learn

Working with the development team as a whole to ensure the look and feel of the design is correctly developed and verifies that the result matches the client's specifications and expectations.
