Currently we are looking for a Java Engineer/AEM Expert to join our client's team in Zurich. This role is for a Adobe AEM Expert with a strong and founded knowledge of the vendor product Adobe AEM (formerly known as Adobe CQ5).

We search a person with both, hands-on and up to standards development skills (bundles and templating) as well as administration skills, preferable with experience in mid to large size companies.

The role includes activities related to design and implementation of solutions, review and optimization of existing solutions, cooperation Product Managers, Solution and Domain Architects, Project Leads and Requirement Engineers and other developers, providing of consulting services and technical advisory to internal customers as well as documentation & testing and 3rd level support tasks.

THE ROLE INVOLVES:

- The Java Engineer/AEM Expert will be required to analyse the needs of internal customers and existing solutions, translate them into requirements and propose the best suitable approach for implementation of their use cases within the applicable restrictions - technology, time and budget wise.
- The function includes implementation and integration of solutions, life cycle activities, cleanup of existing and grown implementations to current standards as well as supporting other teams in development and solution design.
- Participation in support activates is expected, ranging from technical 3rd level support activates to life cycle planning and execution.
- Evolving own ideas and visions on the product and service portfolio is encouraged and welcome.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3 years+ experience in relevant disciplines
- Very good English communication skills, German a plus
- Must have an understanding of Content Management Systems and their deployment in middle to large organizations.
- Must have strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, be self-motivated and able to work with minimal guidance.
- Must have experience working with Adobe AEM/Adobe CQ:
- Knowledge of AEM versions 5.6.1, 6.x (migration experience a plus)
- AEM Templating ( Slightly as templating language a plus)
- Felix bundle programming
- Java servlet programming
- Orchestration and automation of installations, automating processes
- Administration and maintenance
- Experience as technical 3rd Level Supporter
- Knowledge of Active Directory & LDAP integration
- Knowledge of Kerberos, PKI and Smartcard technologies and integration
- Knowledge of Linux OS and Scripting
- Java developer skills/experience, familiar with good practices, Intellij, SVN
- General consulting experience
- Familiarity with agile project setup a plus
- Experience with other CMS solutions (eg TeamSite or open source CMS's) a plus
- Have the ability to own problems through to resolution.
