Java Engineer

JAVA ENGINEER

Java Engineer is needed for a long-term project in Enschede, Netherlands. You will work in multidisciplinary and self-managing Agile teams. These teams develop and test and they attach great importance to the application of high-tech techniques and methods. Agile/Scrum teams are fully responsible for a variety of aspects such as requirements analysis, architecture, testing, validation and regular product demonstrations. Software development is mainly based on Java and is supported by a modern Continuous Integration environment.

YOU'RE A TALENTED SR. JAVA ENGINEER WITH A PASSION FOR DESIGNING, DEVELOPING AND TESTING COMPLEX SOFTWARE.

- With a good background in Java development with modern development methods and tooling
- which is able to quickly make new domains and techniques
- that stands as an enthusiastic team player, open communication, focused on collaboration and you feel responsibility for the outcome of the team.

YOU HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF:

- Agile software development with Scrum
- Java, Spring, Swing, JUnit, Linux
- IDE tooling Eclipse and/or IntelliJ
- Development environment tooling: Subversion/Git, Maven/Gradle, Nexus, Jenkins, Sonar
- Atlassian tooling: Jira, Confluence
- OSGi Framework

EDUCATION/BACKGROUND:

- WO or HBO
- Dutch and English
