Java Development and new Technology Introduction

THE ROLE

The role entails the management of the Application life cycle and including new solutions into the development process. The developers in the devops team face problems that they can't solve with the technology they use now, so they need someone that understands applications, due to development experience and bring solutions using knowledge and an outward look. With that knowledge you bring in new methods and technologies in order to solve the issues. Also, their applications have to be State of the Art; another reason to bring in new technologies.

The first part of the process would be understanding the problem and search for solutions. Then, present findings in front of the developers that work on that part of the application. With strong communication skills you aim to convince the developers of the strength of your solution. Thereafter you include this new technology into the development life cycle itself, which you manage with your fellow team members/
developers.

The team consists of developers mainly, also the team members that fill this similar role are developers.

EXPERIENCE WITH:

- Experience with build- and CI implementation;
- Experience with JAVA;
- Experience with release-,test and development automation;
- Experience with SQL for the configuration;

PRE'S:

- knowledge of ITIL, Prince2, Agile, Kanban and Scrum
- process and modelling
- ALM

Duration: 6 months +
