Java Developer with Tester Background

For an existing contract with one of our direct clients we are urgently looking for a JAVA DEVELOPER WITH TESTER BACKGROUND

Start: ASAP / Duration: 3 months with option of prolongation / Location: Munich / ProjectID: 1918

As Java Developer with tester background your will strengthen the team in support Java based regression Unit-Test

YOUR TASKS:

- Automate functional tests/write Java (Test Suite runs on Java, using Unit-Tests, Cucumber and other frameworks)
- Monitor existing automated tests to ensure tests are passing; investigate failing tests
- Create test scenarios for new stories for all test types (ie functional, regression, etc.)
- Re-factor existing tests as needed (ie migrate between test frameworks)
- Analyze application bugs and fix minor ones

YOUR PROFILE:

- Strong experience in agile Java Development
- Tester Background
- Knowledge and experience with Back End testing (ie test batch jobs)
- Experience in relational databases (ie Oracle)
- Experience with version control system (iesubversion)
- Familiar with IntelliJ is nice to have
- Strong Team Player
- Proactive
- Fluent in English
- Experience in E-commerce will be advantageous
- Great Communication skills
