Java Expert with solid Oracle Application Server (OAS) experience required. This is to cover a short term (circa 10 days) consultancy engagement in London. Your role will involve identifying any areas which may compromise a future upgrade of the platform to more recent currently supported software and hardware. Output would include a list of problematic areas along with an outline plan to address them including likely costs and timescales.

My customer have a Java application deployed on Oracle AS 10gR2. JDK version is 1.4.2 and connects to a 10.2.0.4 database. They have little understanding of their own application as they inherited it without much documentation.

So I am specifically looking for someone with solid Java experience going back 5-10 years who can evaluate the current state of their code and understands how standards have evolved having previously built applications for both OAS 10g and later version of WebLogic 11g.
