Java Developer - West London - SC Cleared

Square one are looking for 4 Java Developer to come on board for an initial 4 month contract based in West London.

The ideal candidate will join an innovative team of developers to deliver software solutions on time and to budget. You will also be expected to communicate well within a multi-disciplinary level team, enjoy problem solving and be analytical by nature.

Candidates  will also be expected to take a leading role in software design, coding, integration and validation activities on a variety of defense related projects.

Key responsibilities: 
 Object Oriented Software design code and test,
 Implementing end-user in Java Swing using in-house framework,
 Supporting the marketing team in production of bids and proposals
 Interfacing with in-house sonar operator and analysts

Essentials:- Recent commercial experience in Java (proficient) using Swing Library
 Experience of developing complex Real Time software (maps, grams) under Linux (preferred)
 Experience of formal OO design methodology using UML
 Understanding of multi-threading development Requirements
 Current SC Clearance in 100% necesarry for thie role.

The contract will look to start on 1st September running until the end of the year. This role is paying market rates.

Notwithstanding any guidelines given to years of experience sought, we will consider candidates from outside this range if they can demonstrate the necessary competencies.
