Java Developer, Senior/Tech Lead - Agile, TDD, Mentor - Manchester - C

JAVA DEVELOPER, SENIOR/TECH LEAD - AGILE, TDD, MENTOR - MANCHESTER - CONTRACT

We're looking for a Senior Java Developer and Java Technical Lead for this Greenfield, large scale, long term digital project based in central Manchester.

You will be the first people through the door as part of small team on-site with a major financial client, and will responsible for scaling the team, mentoring others and driving and Agile transformation.

The successful Agile Java Developer/Java Technical Lead will have extensive experience working in strong Agile environments, mentoring others on Agile methodologies and TDD, you will have been part of and been involved in driving large scale Agile transformations.

You must be able to mentor others on Agile, TDD, Pair Programming, XP and have excellent knowledge of Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration, Lean, KanBan, Scrum, etc.

KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS:

- Java, J2EE
- Agile, TDD/BDD, XP, Pair Programming
- eCommerce, mCommerce solutions (any experience with the Kony platform would be a bonus)
- JSON, REST, Jersey, Jackson
- JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration
- Agile transformations
- Mentoring
- Client facing, excellent communication skills at all levels
