My client in Copenhagen are currently seeking a senior Java developer to join their project on a contractual basis.

The ideal candidate should conform to the following skill set and be expected to carry out the following duties:

Java 5-10 Years Essential

Java J2EE 1-3 Years Essential

Hibernate 1-3 Years Preferred

Spring 1-3 Years Preferred

Jira 1-3 Years Preferred

Bamboo 1-3 Years Preferred

Job description:
Scope of the task is to enforce the Counterparty Risk IT team in developing new functionality in JAVA or WEB-services to support several projects that request data from Counterparty Risk system.
The CCR System is running in Oracle 11G and mainly based on PL/SQL programs, but a new strategic architecture has been decided, so we will start using Java and Web-services for integration.
The assignment involves all phases in the SDLC process and will be in close dialogue with business and IT colleagues.

Required skills:
The consultant MUST:
Be an experienced JAVA developer with competences in SOA architecture.
Also experience in Oracle and PL/SQL.
Ability to plan and drive.
Good communication skills.

Preferred skills:
The consultant MAY:
Understanding of the domain area Credit Risk, have knowledge about the capital markets area and financial products.
Experience in SPRING, Hibernate (JPA), JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, Stash/Git will be an advantage since that is our new toolkit for the JAVA framework.
