Our client, an important multinational company, is looking for his branch in Brussels for a:
JAVA DEVELOPER, OPEN SOURCE TECHNOLOGIES WITH AT LEAST 6 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
EXPERTISE: JAVA/J2EE, OPEN SOURCE TECHNOLOGIES
TASKS:
- Packaging and releasing software to the open source community.
- Production of technical documentation and managing content for the open source community.
- Providing technical support to the open source community.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments.
- Good knowledge of English both oral and written. Good knowledge of French will be appreciated.
- Experience and affinity with Object Oriented (OO) software developments;
- Strong analytical skills and an accurate and structural working attitude;
- JAVA/JEE knowledge including proven experience with JPA and Spring (having a Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) certificate is an advantage);
- JEE web development expertise including proven experience with MVC frameworks (eg Spring MVC), JavaScript and JavaScript libraries (eg jQuery), JSP and related tag libraries;
- Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS and ability to write SQL queries; Knowledge of MySQL is an advantage.
- Knowledge of development methodologies (eg RUP) and modelling (eg UML).
- Configuration management using a version control tool (eg Subversion).
- Strong customer oriented attitude Location: Luxembourg

Duration: 1.000 days
Daily rate: 314 euro;
