Java Developer - NYC Bank - Mortgage IT Team - 130k

The site is comprised of a set of surveillance, market monitor, research and analytic tools. This group has a diverse client base comprised of traders, modelers, strategies, researchers, sales and external clients. The bank's clients use our software to analyze securitized products in order to make timely and educated trading/investment decisions. Developers are responsible for all aspects of the project life-cycle including requirements gathering, estimates, planning, design, development, tracking, testing, release, and proper handover to the support team. Candidates should have an ability to deliver on tight deadlines in an agile development life-cycle, while maintaining focus on the quality of the solutions by means of unit, regression, system and integration testing. Technologies used include FLEX, TIBCO EMS, JMS, Oracle Weblogic, J2EE, Oracle Coherence, Spring MVC framework, Grid Computing (Data Synapse) and MS-SQL. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree or equivalent - 4+ years in Java development (JDBC, Multi-threading, Messaging, possibly Blaze-DS) - Person can work independently and be a self-starter - 3+ years of experience in developing large scale software applications - 3+ years of experience as a developer with web development experience - Experience in Fixed Income or Mortgages domain is preferred **This is a full-time role and at this time the bank can only transfer visas that have at least 3.5 years remaining on them.** If interested in learning more, please send back your updated resume or call Ryan at 212-707-8112.
