JAVA DEVELOPER SOUGHT FOR LONG TERM CONTRACT IN THE HAGUE AT HIGHLY PRESTIGIOUS EUROPEAN SITE

THE ROLE WILL INVOLVE THE FOLLOWING:

- Analysis, design and actual Java development (programming) of the Solution, including prototyping, based on the existing Solution requirements/specifications and high level technical architecture, using amongst others Java and Microsoft SQL Server;
- Implementing unit tests for the developed components;
- Contributing to the improvement and development of the Solution and build process.

ESSENTIAL:

A minimum of 6 years experience in Java technologies (both POJO and JEE based)

- A minimum of 5 years experience in application frameworks (eg Spring Framework)
- Knowledge of JMS message providers (ActiveMQ, WebSphere MQ)

DESIRABLE:

Knowledge of Portlet development (Liferay or similar)

- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
- Knowledge of design and versioning best practices for web services
- Knowledge of Maven
- Knowledge of TeamCity or other Continuous Integration tools
