Are you a Java Developer with a strong ability to monitor Java applications and a good understanding of Java Runtime Environments? Would you like to work for a global insurance company in Zurich? We have an opportunity for a 6 month contract in the heart of Zurich. You will be designing and implementing architectures for applications dealing with high data volume.

Essential skills for Java Developer:

Knowledge of hardware, VMware, Linux, Oracle Java, as well as DB
5+ experience with software development
strong command of C and proven record of performance analysis of complex IT systems

Your responsibilities as a Java Developer will include:

Guiding the implementation team and delivering results
Suggesting suitable technologies with Java/J2EE
Delivering solutions across multiple sources, channels and platforms in all stages of virtualization, aggregation, automation and simplification.
