Java Developer in Test | Paris, France | 5 Month Contract

JAVA DEVELOPER IN TEST | PARIS , FRANCE | 5 MONTH CONTRACT

Java Developer needed with proven experience with testing for a 5 month contract based in Paris , France. Candidates MUST speak English and French

Software Engineer in Test to lead, design, and participate in the creation of an automation framework for a new technology platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing test automation for a new Java based stack that supports both Front End automation and SOA
- Develop automation strategy to enable efficient use of automation in the new product development process
- Collaborate with the development team to create strategy for unit testing, leverage continuous integration environments and test harnesses for check-ins
- Represent quality in any technical discussion, decision and design involved during product development
- Drive test strategy, build domain expertise, mentor and train other engineers in the team
- Codes complex tests to implement a test design.
- Collects and analyzes multiple metrics around testing.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years experience in software testing and development.
- Solid design and development skills in Java, Junit.
- Experience with designing a test automation framework is a must have
- Experience with Selenium preferably Selenium II/Selenium Web Driver
- Proven expertise of test methodology, and experience with UI and usability testing
- Knowledge of SQL, relational databases & XML preferred
- SOA test methodologies a plus
