Java Developer - Galway, Ireland

JAVA DEVELOPER - GALWAY, IRELAND

We are currently looking for an experienced Java Developer to work with our major blue chip client located in Galway, Ireland. Our client is a multi billion dollar world wide IT service provider.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES REQUIRED;

- Knowledge of Java, Java Struts, and SQL
- Working knowledge of Apache, Tomcat, Oracle, and basic networking principles
- Strong plus for knowledge of VB.NET, C#, BizTalk, SQL Server, Windows Services, IIS
- Experience developing, maintaining and deploying complex web applications
- Experience working on mission critical, global cross-functional applications
- Ability to work with corresponding business team to understand business issues and priorities
- Ability to learn tools and processes quickly
- Experience to Application Lifecycle Management (ALM, previously QC) a plus
- Experience of multiple full release cycles
