Java Developer (French & | or German Speaking), XML, SOAP

French or German speaking Java Developer | Java Programmer strong Java coding skills, XML, SOAP libraries 6 month contract in central London.

This US search giant has an immediate requirement for a French or German speaking Java Developer | Java Programmer with strong Java coding skills.

The company is looking for someone to help them integrate with insurer and broker systems. This involves reading and understanding the developer documents provided by the insurer, mapping from the values in their system to the values in the companys, and developing software to interface the two. The role involves communicating with the insurer, and taking charge of the entire process, up to getting the insurer to sign off on the integration software and supporting it when it goes live.

Candidates must be degree educated, and demonstrate 2-3 years strong Java coding experience coupled with strong XML and SOAP libraries experience. Fluency in French or German also required.

Any knowledge of Guava and Protocol Buffer would be a distinct advantage.

Please note this is a mid level Java Developer / Java Programmer role (2-3 years experience) and not a senior or team lead role. Individuals must be happy to code in Java and happy to see the job through to conclusion.
